Why Should I Owner Finance My Property?

As of March 23rd, 2013, more than 31,000 homes were listed for sale on the Houston area MLS. Only 682 offered owner financing (less than 2.2%).  By offering owner financing, you IMMEDIATELY move from a Buyer's market to a SELLER'S market.  (Other city's MLS systems have similar % numbers).

1) Higher Sales Price - Owner financed transactions are typically at full market price or even a small premium.

2) Much Faster Selling Time - Selling via owner finance means putting a buyer in a home quickly, often less than 30 days!

3) Reduced Selling Costs - Expenses such as seller contribution to the buyer's closing costs, excessive repairs and home warranties, etc. are dramatically reduced.
